Effective August 15, 2026
Digitle is a daily number-guessing puzzle game. This page explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and how you can control it. Digitle does not use advertising, does not sell or share your information with third parties, and does not run its own servers — the only outside service involved is Apple's CloudKit, which powers the cross-device leaderboard.
Digitle does not collect your name from your device's contacts, your email address, your location, or any device identifiers like your Apple ID. It does not include analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.
Your display name, per-install ID, and full statistics are stored locally on your device. When you win a puzzle, your display name and current win total are also saved to Apple's CloudKit public database so the leaderboard can be shown across devices. This requires your device to be signed into iCloud — Digitle uses this only to authenticate the request with Apple; it does not access your iCloud account, files, or Apple ID.
Because the leaderboard is shared across everyone who plays Digitle, your chosen display name and win count are visible to other players. Please don't use your real full name or any personal information as your display name if you'd rather keep it private — any nickname works fine.
Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data (your name, ID, and stats) from your device. Your leaderboard entry stored in CloudKit is not automatically deleted when you uninstall the app. To request removal of your leaderboard entry, contact us using the email below with the display name you used, and we'll remove it.
Digitle does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require any personal information beyond an optional, self-chosen display name to use the leaderboard feature; the core game can be played without one.
