Privacy Policy

NetSuite Navigator (the "App") · Data controller: GXW Applications ("we", "us") · Effective: 7 July 2026

This policy explains what information the App handles, why, and your rights. The short version: the App has no user accounts, we don't collect your name or email, and we don't sell data. We process your searches to answer them, and we keep anonymous per-device counters to run the free trial and fair-use limits.

1. Information we process

DataPurposeStored where / how long
Device identifier (an anonymous ID provided by iOS for our app; not your name, phone number, or Apple ID) Counting free-trial searches, enforcing the monthly fair-use limit, and recording that a device has an active subscription Our server (Cloudflare). Trial counters are kept while the service operates; monthly counters expire automatically after ~40 days; subscription status expires with the subscription
Search queries and optional images (e.g. error screenshots) you submit Transmitted to our AI provider to generate your answer, which may include live web searches Not stored by us — our server relays them and retains no copy. Our AI provider processes them under its own terms (see section 3)
Subscription transaction identifier Sent to Apple's servers to verify a genuine subscription before unlocking a device Used transiently for verification; we store only the resulting unlock status and expiry against the device ID
Logo image you add via "Add your logo" Personalising the App's interface On your device only; never uploaded

We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, advertising identifiers, or analytics profiles, and the App contains no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

2. Camera and photo library

The App requests camera and photo access only when you choose to attach an error screenshot or a logo. Images you attach for error analysis are sent for processing as described above; the logo stays on your device. We never access your camera or library in the background.

3. Who processes data on our behalf

4. International transfers

Our service providers process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the providers' standard contractual clauses and applicable adequacy frameworks.

5. Legal bases (UK/EU GDPR)

We process the data above to perform our contract with you (delivering answers, operating trial and subscription entitlements) and for our legitimate interests in preventing abuse of the service and keeping it economically sustainable.

6. A note on what you submit

Screenshots and queries may contain information about your organisation's NetSuite account. Submit only what you are permitted to share, and avoid including unnecessary personal data about others. As the person submitting, you are responsible for having the right to do so.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Because our counters are keyed only to an anonymous device ID, exercising these rights may require information from your device to locate the relevant record — contact us and we will help. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local supervisory authority.

8. Children

The App is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly process children's data.

9. Security

Traffic between the App, our server, and our providers is encrypted in transit (TLS). API credentials are held server-side and never included in the App. Counters are stored keyed to anonymous identifiers only.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the current version and its effective date will always be shown on this page.
